About the Obligation of REM(registered electronic mail) Address of Legal Entity Companies Obtaining Authorization Certificate from Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure
As is known, the Road Transport Law No. 4925 and the Road Transport Regulation issued in accordance with this law, the goods, passenger and freight transport made by the road standards and authorization certificate and so on. other qualifications have been introduced.
Article 13 of the Road Transport Regulation sets out the conditions for obtaining and renewing authorization certificate. One of the conditions in question is the condition that companies with legal entities have a REM (Registered Electronic Mail) address. The said provision shall not apply until 31/12/2019 in accordance with paragraph 1 / b of Temporary Article 2 of the Regulation. Pursuant to the provisions of the legislation in force, the PEP address will be mandatory as of 01/01/2020 and it is mandatory to have PEP addresses of all legal entities that have obtained authorization certificate from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure to operate by road transport.
Companies with REM addresses should report their REM addresses to the unit from which they receive authorization certificates, and firms without REM addresses should provide REM addresses and then report them to the unit from which they obtain authorization certificates.
