In the letter dated 02.10.2024 and numbered 10620, sent to our Chamber from the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye,

In the relevant letter, a copy of which is provided in the appendix, it is stated that, with reference to a letter received from the Baghdad Trade Counsellor's Office, it was understood that Turkish exporters were contacted using the fake institution names whose information was provided in the letter.

The article continues by advising our companies to be careful against such individuals or institutions that claim to act on behalf of the Iraqi state and to be official institutions, and to contact the Baghdad Trade Counsellor's Office (( bagdat@ticaret.gov.tr ) when necessary.
